When a PoligIoT device is no longer useful to you, send it back to us. If it still works, it gets a second life in field trials, research or donations; if not, we send it for recycling. And you get 5% off the new device that replaces it.
Our sensors and modules contain batteries, circuit boards and metals that must not be mixed with regular waste. That is why the devices we sell come back to us at the end of their use and follow a controlled path: first we try to extend their life and, when that is no longer possible, their components are separated for recycling.
5% off the price of each new device that replaces a returned one.
No device is reused or recycled before it is removed from the platform and its settings are erased.
What still works gets a second life, and batteries and boards stay out of regular waste.
Any of these reasons is valid, whether the device works or not.
It no longer works reliably or its battery no longer lasts as it used to.
You moved to an updated model and the previous one is no longer in use.
Impacts, water or power surges left it out of service.
Sensors or modules left in storage after an installation closed.
Fill in the form with the models, the number of devices and the reason for the return.
We tell you how to send the devices safely, especially those with lithium batteries.
We remove each device from the platform, turn off its connectivity and erase its settings.
What still works is refurbished for our programs, the rest is separated for recycling, and we send you your 5% discount.
We check every device and refurbish those that work. We do not resell them: they go to field trials, research and donations. Parts in good condition are used to repair other devices in these programs.
What cannot be reused is separated into batteries, circuit boards and casings, and handed over for recycling in line with the regulations of each country.
Refurbished devices are not sold again. This is where they go:
They become part of the kits we send out to test new technologies in real conditions.
Donations for those who need to modernize their processes but lack the resources to make the leap.
For those who could not pay for it, such as small farmers, community associations and community water committees.
Devices for student research projects and practical training, among other educational uses.
Small producers, community associations, community water committees, students and researchers can apply to receive devices free of charge.
Tell us which devices they are and how many you have. We will reply with the steps to send them.
